Do the painful memories or patterns of your past keep creeping up even though you’re desperately trying to move forward? Do you have reactions that feel stronger than the present moment calls for or anxiety that keeps jumping in the driver’s seat without your permission? Do you feel exhuasted trying to keep everything together?

In your relationship, are you tired of feeling stuck in the same draining patterns with your partner and you crave a connection where you feel truly seen, understood, and loved?

I can help.

I help people release trauma and the patterns holding them back so that they can move through life feeling resilient and confident in the intentional space they’re creating for themselves in the present.

I’m a certified EMDR therapist and couples therapist in San Francisco who is passionate about helping people feel strong and live their lives with clarity, confidence, and joy.

I help people build their resilience and internal resources to truly address and heal trauma, and I stay committed even when the work gets hard. I hold a gentle space for you to heal at a pace that both honors your nervous system and keeps you moving forward.

I’ve helped many individuals release trauma and move forward in their lives in a way they didn’t think was possible, and I’ve helped many couples create a relationship that feels like a safe and loving space and a true team. I hold hope that healing is possible for you, too.

Clinial Approach

Help for Trauma using EMDR Therapy in San Francisco (and across CA, FL, & PA)

When our mind perceives something as a threat or a threatening situation, our brain can get overwhelmed by the negative, painful, and traumatic experience, causing the memory to get stuck and coded in a raw and painful way. EMDR Therapy helps your brain process the memory as just that, a memory, so that you do not feel retraumatized by it in the present, and we’ll install a positive belief in yourself and help you feel empowered to face present and future triggers, too. I’ve helped people release trauma from painful and terrifying events that happened anywhere from 1 week ago to 50 years ago so that those memories no longer have an emotional charge for them and they feel confident, peaceful, and in control of their lives.

Help for healthy relationships using Couples Therapy in San Francisco (and across CA, FL, & PA)

Healthy relationships are made, not born, which means that growing a healthy relationship takes intentional work. Often, the demands of life drain us until we have what feels like almost nothing left to give to our partnership. I get that you’re busy, and I also get that you want to create a healthy relationship, so I use evidence-based relationship techniques and will teach you both how to bring your best selves to your relationship so that you can communicate effectively and truly connect. I support couples as they repair emotional wounds, create new and enjoyable patterns of interacting with each other, and intentionally build the relationship that they knew they had the potential for when they decided to do life together while honoring where they are in their lives now.

Sometimes, growing romantically together isn’t the immediate goal, such as when couples work with me to help them create clarity about their relationship, or isn’t the goal at all, such as when co-parents work with me to help them create a peaceful and collaborative co-parenting dynamic. I will meet you where you are and help you grow in meaningful ways that are relevant to your lives.
